Aptar Pharma’s innovative, preservative-free multidose Ophthalmic Squeeze Dispenser has been announced as the delivery system for Bausch+Lomb’s Levofree Multidose in France which has received approval by the French National Agency for Medicines and Health Products (ANSM).
Aptar Pharma has been working closely with Bausch+Lomb, one of the world’s leading Eye Care companies, to achieve this first ANSM approval of an Eye Care product using a preservative-free multidose dispensing system. This launch has further expanded the track record of Aptar Pharma’s Ophthalmic Squeeze Dispenser as the delivery system of choice for preservative-free Eye Care formulations.
With more than 500 commercial references worldwide, Aptar Pharma’s Ophthalmic Squeeze Dispenser supports key industry needs for preservative-free multi-dose devices. The OSD comes with a set of data and test methods that is designed to support pharmaceutical companies in preparing the dispensing part of their finished product dossier. Using respective bottle options with the OSD, the system is designed to provide easy actuation of the dispenser and convenience for on-the-go use. The Eye Care delivery solution is the result of more than 10 years of development and experience in the delivery of preservative-free ophthalmic solutions, tested with challenging growth media for microbiological integrity of preservative-free Eye Care products (individual properties of formulations require additional testing).
