At Aptar, giving back to the communities where our people live and work is an essential pillar of our core values. We believe that fostering a sustainable, diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture extends beyond our workplace and into the broader community.
Most recently, a Florida charity, Fostering Kindness, received a grant from Aptar’s Charitable Foundation. This grant will help Fostering Kindness continue its vital work in providing support and resources to children in foster care.
During the check presentation, a community service event was also held where Aptar employees helped pack comfort bags for foster children. These bags include essential items such as lotion, lip balm, toothbrushes, soap, and comforting items like blankets and nightlights. In addition to the check presentation and the community service event, a bookbag drive was also organized for Fostering Kindness.
Aptar’s grant allowed Fostering Kindness to move into a new office space and expand beyond the program beyond the six counties they now serve.
Fostering Kindness:
Fostering Kindness is dedicated to providing comfort and joy to children in foster care by offering meaningful gifts, essential items, and special experiences. Their mission is to make a positive impact on the lives of these children, ensuring they feel valued and supported. Since its inception, Fostering Kindness has provided gifts to almost 2,000 foster children across six Central Florida counties.
