Facial Mists and Makeup Setting Sprays for a Light, Even Finish

 

Facial mists and setting sprays should feel weightless on the skin. That depends on a fine, uniform cloud that settles evenly without leaving wet spots or large droplets. Our actuators for face care are designed with soft actuation and fine atomization that produce smaller particles and a mistier spray. PAV Bloom pairs a fine, homogenous mist with a wide spray angle of 45˚ to 65˚, depending on the actuation force, to create a spray up to 3x longer than a standard pump.

Body and hair mists need to cover more area in fewer strokes. Our spray pump inserts for body and hair care combine generous dosage options and wide spray angles that extend the spray duration. The Heaven insert (available with the PZ or EuroMist platforms) delivers up to 3x longer spray duration compared to traditional spray pumps, creating a sweeping gesture for uniform coverage. A fine mist spray pump includes three main parts: an actuator, piston and dip tube that work together to create pressure to dispense a liquid formulation when the actuator is pressed down. The system forces the liquid out through the nozzle and atomizes it into small droplets for even distribution.

Fine mist spray pumps are used for non-aerosol hair sprays, facial mists, makeup setting sprays, body and fragrance mists, as well as sun care, insect repellents and air care.

Fine mist spray pumps work with water-based, alcohol-based, and low VOC formulas. Specialized inserts support oil-based and higher-viscosity formulations. Because performance is formula-specific, compatibility testing is always recommended.
