During June, Aptar celebrated Pride Month across our sites to celebrate and recognize the LGBTQ+ community and its allies. Groups worldwide observe and support Pride Month every June in memory of the Stonewall Riots that took place in the U.S. in 1969. Pride Month promotes dignity, equal rights, and self-affirmation for the LGBTQ+ community, and is a way of increasing society’s awareness of the issues they face.
Pride Month at Aptar
Throughout the month, Aptar sites around the globe celebrated Pride by decorating offices, designing shirts to promote their support and solidarity with LGBTQ+ colleagues and allies, and attending discussions about LGBTQ+ history to help promote awareness and understanding among coworkers. These events embody the spirit of “Be You Be Aptar” – fostering an inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive by embracing their authentic selves.
