Our Airless+ dispensing systems are prime examples of our commitment to providing greater sustainability through our products. The Airless+ range of skin treatment dispensing systems are made entirely of plastics and are free of recycling disruptors such as metals, earning them a 97%-98% recyclability rating from cyclos-HTP. Manufactured at International Sustainability & Carbon Certification (ISCC) PLUS certified sites, Aptar Pharma has implement a mass balance accounting system that traces the use of more sustainable materials, such as chemically recycled resins, bio-circular or renewable feedstocks, throughout the chain of custody for each Airless+ product.
In addition, the Airless+ system’s piston technology results in highly efficient product dispensing that minimizes the amount of formulation waste left in the dispenser, making them ideal for direct recycling by consumers in existing recycling pathways. Our Micro+ Futurity™ Airless system takes recyclability a step further through its monomaterial design, composed of only medical grade polyethylene (PE) resin, which results in a higher quality of recyclate. The Micro+ Futurity™ Airless system has achieved cyclos-HTP’s highest recyclability rating of “Class AAA+” which is 100% recyclable. All of our Airless+ systems protect even the most sensitive formulations from air or environmental influences while providing precise and efficient dispensing of today’s skin treatment products.
