Aptar is a Women’s Forum of New York Corporate Champion! Aptar is proud to be recognized by the Women’s Forum of New York as a company where women make up 50% of our Board of Directors. On November 8, Executive Committee members Stephan Tanda, Shiela Vinczeller and Kim Chainey, along with Aptar’s Board members, Candace Matthews (Chair) and Giovanna Kampouri Monnas, attended the biennial Breakfast of Corporate Champions in New York City alongside female leaders within our organization. On behalf of Aptar, Stephan accepted the Corporate Champion award for having women represent 50% of our Board of Directors. Aptar was one of 78 companies recognized with this honor.
Women’s Forum of New York:
The Women’s Forum of New York was founded in 1974 as a network aimed at bringing together women across business sectors in New York city to exchange ideas and experiences. This organization champions the Women’s Forum Education Award providing scholarships for women and the Breakfast of Corporate Champions, an event that highlights organizations that are committed to gender balance on Corporate Boards. The 2023 Breakfast of Corporate Champions Event:
This years event was focused on honoring Fortune 1000 and S&P 500 companies advocating for greater gender balance on Corporate Boards. 233 Companies were recognized for having at least 40% women and 78 Corporate Champions were honored for having a Board consisting of 50% or greater women board representation. Aptar is a Women’s Forum of New York Corporate Champion.
