Our two conventional pump spray systems, Classic Line and VP6, offer outstanding modular options to realize the broadest ranges of applications. The diverse actuator portfolio provides for local as well as systemic drug delivery. Various product applications are possible for nasal, oral, dermal and otic drug delivery. Product flexibility is also provided by the diverse actuator families that can be adapted to different users’ needs, as well as fit your specific formulation requirements, from higher viscosities to liquid gels to suspensions and solutions.
Accessory features include closure and cap choices, but also functional features such as upside-down use, dose counting pumps or the Child Resistant Senior Friendly (CRSF) closure for nasal sprays. These wide variety of choices allow for brand differentiation for both prescription products as well as over-the-counter solutions.

Our conventional spray pumps are appropriate for aseptic filling lines
Both product lines, VP6 and Classic Line, are produced under conditions matching ISO 8 standards.
For aseptic filling line needs we offer a Gamma-Irradiation service according to ISO11137 validated irradiation process.

Classic Line supports specific needs for patient safety with functional features
For Classic Line we have developed standard features to improve patients’ safety. Safety features include a customizable CRSF closure for nasal spray pumps. For medications where patients’ compliance and correct dosing of the drug is important, we can offer dose-counting pumps to help patients monitor their medications.
Aptar Pharma’s nasal actuator range for VP6 and Classic Line provide diverse ergonomically defined designs that can be used with different closures – screw, snap and crimp – and a choice of cap options.
Dose volumes range from 45 to 220 µl.
Color customization is also possible.
Our topical solutions include traditional spray actuators for dermal drug delivery, wound treatments and oral applications as well as drop dispensers that are feasible for higher viscous formulations.
Closures are available as snap-on, crimp and screw versions and dose volumes for topical actuators range between 45 and 500µl.
Color customization is also possible.
Ear actuators are provided with a protecting ergonomic nozzle, at different angles and lengths, with some adjustable options. Dose volumes range from 50 to 220µl.
Closure variants can also be chosen such as terminal caps protecting the nozzle. Throat or ear sprays are available with long adjustable or fixed nozzles.
Color customization is also available.
As dermal applications are often difficult to be applied in an upright position, we developed an upside-down pump spray variant of the Classic Line. The upside-down system can be used with nasal or oral actuators and offers dose volumes from 50 to 120µl.
