Our BAI metered dose inhaler can also integrate a dose counting function to remind patients of the number of doses remaining for chronic respiratory conditions like asthma and COPD.

Patients simply place the mouthpiece in their mouth and breathe in. The BAI senses the inhalation and automatically coordinates the actuation of the metering valve to release the product spray. This means the patient does not have to even think about coordinating inhalation with actuation, like they would with conventional pMDI inhaler systems. Some patients with low inspiration rates (flow rates) can benefit from Breath Actuated Inhalers as they ensure higher levels of dose consistency.
