E-lockout monitors the amount and timing of drug delivered, can improve patient compliance, and help prevent overdosing of potent drugs. Our e-Lockout is approved by the European Medicines Agency (EMA).
The Smart Electronic Device with Locking Features
Ensures safe and compliant drug delivery
Our e-Lockout device can help ensure safe and compliant drug delivery by limiting the number of doses available during a 24-hour period. Its built-in locking mechanism prevents the device from being used for a period of time after a pre-defined number of spray actuations.
Additionally, the electronic display shows the number of priming strokes, the number of doses remaining in the device, time remaining until the next dose, and whether the nasal spray is locked or ready for use.
Our e-Lockout can also incorporate specific warning features to remind patients to take their medications so that they are fully compliant in their treatment. Other features include a child-resistant cap.
Our advanced patented electronic technology may be useful in drug delivery treatment for diseases involving acute episodes, such as breakthrough pain.
