This 60th anniversary of the Verneuil site is a milestone celebrating an exceptional journey marked by innovation, industrial excellence, and forward-looking vision aligned with the evolving beauty market and Aptar’s ambitions.

A Strong Regional Presence

Aptar is a global leader in drug and consumer product dosing, dispensing and protection technologies with over 13,000 dedicated employees in 20 countries. In France, Aptar has over 4,000 employees and is one of the largest private employers in the Eure and Manche departments. Over 1,000 Aptar Beauty employees work there, across three specialized sites:

  • Aptar Le Neubourg: dedicated to molding and assembling dispensing systems for the premium luxury fragrance and cosmetics markets;
  • Aptar Verneuil d’Avre et d’Iton: specializing in molding, assembly, filling, and cardboard inserts for mini packaging, airless products, aerosol valves, accessories, and atmospheric pumps for both prestige and mass markets ;
  • Aptar Charleval: expert in molding, assembling, and decorating mini packaging and airless products.

Together, these industrial hubs form the “Normandy platform”. Located within 100 km of each other, they promote regional manufacturing, as part of Aptar’s “local for local” strategy, while leveraging global technical expertise. Their synergy and complementary operations deliver real added value to long-standing partners and brands such as L’Oréal, Clarins, Pierre Fabre, or Creed.

“Within five years, Aptar’s Normandy platform aims to become a global benchmark for our prestige fragrance and cosmetics clients in terms of innovation, quality, and service.”
Jean-Noël Coninx,

Normandy Operations Director,

Aptar Beauty

An Agile and Versatile Site

To meet market demands for new products and support innovation, Aptar has enhanced the site’s operational capabilities:

  • By focusing on R&D functions for airless and fragrance prestige innovations, including the development of Nomad Refill, the first refillable purse spray that can be refilled directly from a perfume bottle under five seconds (launched in January 2025);
  • By adding new machines, including an additional filling line and the site’s first electric molding presses

In line with Aptar’s values and sustainability commitments, the Verneuil d’Avre et d’Iton site will operate a molding workshop fully equipped with electric presses, operational by 2030. This will significantly reduce the site’s energy consumption, as electric presses consume approximately 25% less energy than hydraulic ones.

The Verneuil d’Avre et d’Iton site also plays a key role in Aptar Beauty’s full-service offering, by manufacturing and delivering turnkey solutions from production to final product.

The Easy Spray miniature fragrance packaging, for example, is a best-seller among beauty brands. This sampling solution is designed, assembled, filled, and secured on a card by the Verneuil teams, offering a seamless, one-stop service to customers.

The site also manages the production of the iD SCENT range—an innovative paper-based fragrance sampling solution that is recyclable thanks to its mono-material paper composition.

An Evolving Industrial Model

Aptar Beauty is taking actions to reduce its environmental footprint by promoting energy transition across all its production sites and advancing a circular economy model throughout its entire product range. At Verneuil d’Avre et d’Iton, this commitment includes:

  • Recycling 95% of plastic materials used during production
  • Phasing out POM (Polyoxymethylene), gradually in existing products and entirely in all new projects
  • Integrating Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) materials into packaging
  • Offering recyclable solutions to optimize the product end-of-life

The site is certified ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 50001:2018, ISO 22716 (GMP), and Landfill Free.

“Thanks to the expertise and agility of our teams, this site will continue to reinvent itself to adapt to emerging market trends and deliver the best of French manufacturing to our customers.”
Cyril Chevalier, Operations Director,

Aptar Verneuil d’Avre et d’Iton

Aptar Beauty celebrates 60 years of industrial excellence, driven by the dedication of its people, their know-how, and their ability to envision and shape the future of the industry. “Made in France”—and even “Made in Normandy”— continues to stand for quality, innovation, and sustainability.
