Crystal Lake, Illinois, November 13, 2024 – AptarGroup, Inc. (NYSE: ATR), a global leader in drug and consumer product dosing, dispensing and protection technologies, today announced that it has been named a World’s Top Companies for Women 2024 by Forbes for the fourth consecutive year (formerly World’s Top Female Friendly Companies). Aptar is ranked 41 out of the 400 companies included on the list by Forbes and their partner Statista. “It is an honor to be recognized by Forbes for the fourth consecutive year, reflecting our progress towards furthering Inclusion, Equity and Belonging (IE&B) across our global workforce,” said Shiela Vinczeller, Aptar’s Chief Human Resources Officer. “Championing the development and upward progression of women starts with our Board of Directors which is comprised of 50% women and our executive committee which is 37% women. When we respect and value each other’s unique contributions, we create a workplace where everyone can thrive.”
Marcia Thomas, Senior Director, Global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, shared, “We recognize that the true power of our organization comes from the unique contributions of our diverse, global workforce. Being named one of the World’s Top Companies for Women reflects the impact of our enhanced focus on IE&B, which is propelled by our employee resource groups, International Women’s Day summit, annual month-long diversity celebration, partnerships with organizations that hold us accountable for our commitments and much more.”
For this award, Forbes partnered with market research firm Statista to survey approximately 100,000 women working for multinational corporations across 37 countries. Each corporate group was required to operate in at least two of the six continental regions of the world. The final analysis is based on three areas: employer brand, public opinion and leadership score. Data points were then aggregated and combined with survey data collected over the past three years, with current data weighted more heavily than older data. The 400 companies with the highest total scores made the ranking.
