At Aptar, we are deeply saddened by the invasion of Ukraine and we are monitoring the situation closely.
It is an unspeakable tragedy to see war return to Europe, which can come as an unexpected, deep personal shock to many of our Aptar colleagues, given cultural roots, and family ties of many of our employees connected directly to the region.
Our hearts and solidarity go out to all of the people in the region who are unfairly caught in the midst of the tragic events unfolding.
Through our global partnership with CARE®, we are contributing $50,000 to the Ukraine Crisis Fund and we are doubling any additional donations that our employees give to CARE. Our teams in Europe are also gathering donations of clothing, diapers, personal care products and more, which will be delivered by a local organization to the Poland/Ukraine border.
We will continue to monitor the evolving situation closely and adapt our approach as necessary to serve patients, consumers and customers to the best of our abilities, while fully complying with all applicable sanctions. Our purchasing and operations teams are working closely to ensure that the supply chain remains functioning while our commercial teams are engaging with our customers.
