In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Aptar is proud to join the global effort to raise awareness and support those affected. Throughout October, our sites participated in a series of impactful events to honor individuals and families impacted by this disease.
Community Engagement and Fundraising
Aptar Congers partnered with Montefiore Nyack Hospital for the third Annual Rides & Strides Event. This year, the event raised an impressive $153.9K, ensuring that underinsured, uninsured, and medically underserved women receive vital screening services annually.
Wear Pink for Awareness
At our Crystal Lake site, employees gathered to wear pink in solidarity with those affected by breast cancer. This simple act served as a visible reminder of our collective commitment to raising awareness and supporting breast cancer research.
Global Participation
In France, the Aptar team made a significant impact by participating in the annual Odysséa Marathon against breast cancer. Our team, consisting of 32 runners and walkers, embodied the spirit of the Pink October movement, which aims to raise awareness and support for those affected by the disease.
Lighting Up for Awareness
To further our commitment, our facilities in Le Vaudreuil and Val de Reuil were lit up in pink throughout the month. This visual display serves as a reminder of the importance of early detection and raises awareness in our communities.
