Aptar Pharma is a world leader in nasal drug delivery. We specialize in reformulating existing drugs into nasally administered sprays or powders, offering a faster and less risky development process compared to new drug development. Aptar Pharma’s APF FuturityTM is the first completely recyclable nasal spray pump for preservative free applications on the market. This solution answers the growing need for more recyclable drug product packaging solutions. It uses only plastic materials and contains no metal parts, allowing for a CO2 emission savings of up to 37%*. Equally important, the change in design does not reduce the performance or microbiological integrity of the product, delivering precise and consistent doses of liquid preservative free formulation every time.

Aptar Pharma played a pivotal role in developing a nasal spray delivery device for NARCAN®, an antidote for opioid overdose that can easily be administered quickly by anyone, anywhere. Using Aptar’s Unidose nasal spray system, first-responders can administer the life-saving treatment rather than going through the lengthy multi-step process of fiddling with a syringe and a needle. This product is the first U.S. FDA-approved nasally administered, needle-free, ready-to use medication that can stop or reverse the effects of an opioid overdose.

A joint development by Aptar Beauty and Pinard Beauty Pack, this full packaging option combines Aptar’s multi award-winning, Future pump with Pinard’s patented Airless PET bottle-in-bottle design. This innovative solution is a perfect blend of style and sustainability. Future Airless PET is RecyClass recyclability certified as a semi-finished plastic packaging compatible with PET recycling stream in Europe***.
We have partnered with Kraft Heinz for over 40 years, transforming the way condiments are dispensed and enhancing the user experience. In the 1980s, our partnership helped introduce the first flip-top dispensing closure in the sauces and condiments market. In the 2000s, we upended the market, helping Kraft Heinz to launch its first inverted packaging using our SimpliSqueeze® valve technology. Our flow control valve provides a clean, convenient experience for consumers while minimizing product waste. Consumers have shown a clear preference in this packaging format which revolutionized the way condiment aisles look today.
Our Aptar Beauty team collaborated with Clarins to develop the innovative pump for Clarins Double Serum. The packaging provides a unique delivery system to preserve the integrity of the formula. Our solution triggers the mixing process and delivers, in a single pump, the right dose to apply to the face. The push button can also be rotated to offer customers a different dosage to meet their needs.
Meet Micro+ Futurity™, our next-level Airless+ dispenser for dermal drug delivery. Our solution is reliable, delivering the formulation efficiently and with minimal waste. Additionally, our innovative solution is fully recyclable. Its Airless+ system is mono-material, consisting entirely of medical grade polyethylene (PE) resin. Aptar Pharma has embraced a systemic approach to incorporating sustainability and recyclability aspects into the design of all our products and validates the respective product features through the independent classifications received from organizations like cyclos-HTP.
Aptar’s Future Disc Top is a fully-recyclable and e-commerce-capable locking disc top closure for beauty and personal care applications. Future Disc Top incorporates a locking/unlocking ring that ensures it remains secure during transit and minimizes potential breakage or leaks. This versatile closure can also help brands meet sustainability goals. Comprised of 100% polyethylene (PE), Future Disc Top closure creates a fully recyclable packaging solution when paired with PE and polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles.
