Nose to Brain Drug Delivery – A Promising Future

Nose to brain drug delivery has considerable potential to address currently unmet needs for CNS therapeutics for the treatment of disorders such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and multiple sclerosis.

This webinar discusses the mechanisms of drug delivery to the CNS, drug delivery technology considerations, and formulation ingredients and strategies, including an examination of the pros and cons of liquid vs. powder formulation. By bypassing the blood brain barrier, nose to brain drug delivery offers potential to deliver different drugs and lower doses with minimal systemic effect.
